West Indian Braithwhite deserves all the fair

Virat Kohli has rightly been declared Man of the WT20 tournament on Sunday night, going by his singlehanded performance in the series of matches for India. The rest were miostly 12th men. Suresh Raina, who played in the semi-fanal with the West Indies, did neither bat nor bowl. Why was he in Team India then? Skipper Mahendrasingh Dhoni should answer for. Dhoni's bowling changes were horrible to say the least. When you have to fight till the last ball like the West Indies did in the final by batsman Braithwhite belting 4 sixes in a row for his team, that is the way to play or lead in bigtime cricket. You can't give the last over to a part-time bowler such as Kohli and still expect a miracle and your team to win. In the event, West Indian batsmen Russel put paid to India's hopes in the semi-final. The four sixes in a row is the talk of the people all over India in buses, trains and busy places now, not Kohli why maybe making waves on social media. Nobody talks of the Man of the Tournament Kohli or Indian Captain Dhoni: It's Braithwite who took the fight away in the last over of the tournament all the way. He is really the Man of the Tournament, not the losers.
