Aishwarya Bachchan trashes black money report as untrue

Even before father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan reacted on his name figuring in the list of 500 black money holders found in the Panama Papers, Bollywood star Aishwarya Bachchan has dismissed the report as untrue. According to Aishwaya's media advisor, the report is totally false and completely untrue. Her name figures prominently in the list. The Indians in the list include India Bulls owner Sameer Gahlut. It is estimated that about six to seven trillion dollars lies hidden in tax havens across the world. Indians' share of the spoils is stated to be $151 billion to $181 billion. The Indians' share in the global hidden wealth is same as the country's share in global GDP, about 2.5% in 2013. This works out to $151 billion to $181 billion, that is Rs 8.9 lakh crore to Rs 10.5 lakh crore. Somehow, the interested agencies are cagey about revealing the names of all the indians on the list. They merely state the broad fields to which these black money holders belong by giving one or two names.
