Rahul Gandhi arrives in Kolkata for photo-opportunity

Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Kolkata looking for photo opportunities over the flyover mishap in Burrabazaar, the BJP flayed him. The party asked him why did he not question the award of the flyover contract to a blacklisted company such as the IVRCL. The contract was awarded to the Hyderabad-based company by the then CPM government in West Bengal, with which the Congress was now an alliance partner in the assembly elections. The BJP further charged Rahul Gandhi with converting tragedies as the lifeline for his party's political comeback. Rahul had been hobnobbing with the students of the Central universities, JNU and HCU, for gaining political mileage out of student strife over non-issues.
