Komatireddy Venkatreddy hails KCR powerpoint display

While his party generally boycotted the powerpoint presentation by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the senior Congress leader, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, hailed the Chief Minister's efforts. As regards the powerpoint presentation, Venkatreddy said indeed it would be great if the projects pointed out in the presentation get off the ground. Talking to the media, the Congress leader made certain comments that would indicate his change of heart towards the ruling TRS. Another project that enamoured Venkatreddy was the double-bedroom project of the ruling TRS. If the ruling party constructed 100,000 double-bedroom houses in Hyderabad and at least 50 of those in each village in the State, it would go a long way in solving the housing for the poor. The Congress party is, however, not at all impressed with Venkatreddy's remarks after the ditching of the party by the Telangana Rashtra Samiti at the hustings.
