Jagan's AgriGold focus is to divert Brandix attention

The YCP leader, Jaganmohan Reddy, raised the AgriGold issue so as to divert the attention from the lease given to Brandix corporation by the YSR government for a song in 2005, the BJP leader Vishnukumar Raju alleged in the AP Assembly on Monday. Raju said during the YSR regime thousands of acres were allotted to Brandix corporation at Rs 25 per acre for 25 years. Brandix, in turn, sub leased the lands and made a profit of crores of rupees, he said. He demanded that the government probe into the matter and take action against the persons concerned. He further alleged that the women working in Brandix were facing all kinds of harassment. He wanted a police station to be set up near Brandix. Brandix India Apparel City (BIAC) is unique integrated apparel supply chain city spread over 1000 acres in the port city of Visakhapatnam.
