Pak team probing Pathankot attack arrives
The five-member Pakistan Joint Investigation Team probing into the Pathankot airbse attack on the role of its nationals would be meeting the National Investigations Team going with the inquiry in New Delhi on Monday.
The Pakistani team had been given a week's visa to consult their Indian counterparts.
As for the Pakistan side, there has always been denial mode by Islamabad. In continuation of it, some arrests have been ostensibly made. LeT chief Hafiz Saeed was the first to have been arrested. Later, it was stated that he was under house arrest. Despite the so-called arrest, Hafiz Saeed had been continuing his raving and ranting against India.
Pakistan, too, is continuing its dubious plans to show to its masters in the West how it's not unfair. While being the criminal, it wants to play the judge, too. Pakistan's dubious nature was widely exposed in the Osama bin Laden case. While the country's leaders had always pointed to Yemen and other places as the hiding places of the Al Qaida chief, he was eventually found in Pakistan army garrison at Abbotabad and killed by American Navy Seals in a secret midnight operation. Pakistan's credibility had since been reduced to nought.
It's leaders, however, continue `the good terrorist' `bad terrorist' stance, wherein the good are those who kill and maim people abroad and bad are those that kill people back home.
While India may facilitate the entry of the Pakistan probe team, it cannot expect substantial help from a criminal and terrorist country, which is Pakistan.
