There are only two asses in the village. So the competition to get astride the asses is stiff. People are given Holi date 5 years hence to hope to beget a son. Only the couple of asses in particular give the power to men to beget sons or any ass will do? It appears the couple of asses in the village alone help couples beget sons, because there is no shortage of asses in the Little Rann of Kutch, not far from Jungadh, where wild asses roam free.
