Bihar leader talks of violence under the nose of CM
Gopal Mandal of the ruling JD(U) in Bihar has warned of politics of violence to support his constituents, although they defeated him.
Speaking at a meeting at Naguchia in Bihar, he said he had guns and ammunition and also explosive material. He said he would take to politics of murder again, if need be.
He assured the people of Gopalpur in Bhagalpur, who did not elect him in the recent elections, that he had the official patronage, weapons and explosive material and assured them of his support.
Gopal Mandal said murders were not new to him. He had committed murders and would commit murders again.
Gopal's talk of violence had already left chief Minister Nitish Kumar embarrassed. Gopal wished to take on the Chief Minister himself opposing the proposed prohibition in the State from April 1.
Making violent remarks is nothing new to Gopal. In the past he had said that he would cut the tongue of those browbeating his supporters. For the remark, he was suspended by the JD(U).
Since Gopal Mandal talks of murder, it remains to be seen what his party government would do next.
