Five shows a day in Telangana cinemas

Telangana cinema theatres will start having five shows a day shortly. The Telangana sub-committee has indicated the need for such a change to the government. The sub-committee, which met on Monday, appealed for the allotment of nine acres at Chitrapuri colony for building houses for the cine workers. it also demanded a Film and Television Institute in Hyderabad. The five shows a day proposal had been mooted to cater to the interests of the small cinema which had not been finding theatres to show small budget films. Of the five shows, one show should necessarily cater to the small cinema every day. Sub-committee members Dasari Narayan Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Shankar, producer Daggubati Suresh and former actor Muralimohan took part in today's meeting. It was alleged that small cinema had to give money to theatres to show their films.
