Order a CBI probe into AgriGold affairs, Lakshmi Parvati challenges Babu

Lakshmi Parvati, widow of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, on Monday alleged that Nara Lokesh, TDP Chief General Secretary, had acquired the assets of AgriGold that had duped the depositors. Addressing the aggrieved depositors of AgriGold at a rally in Vijayawada, Lakshmi Parvati said that it was because of the big leaders interest that the investigations into the AgriGold affairs were not smooth. Further alleging that AgriGold assets were later acquired by Nara Lokesh, she wondered whether the ruling TDP would dare order a CBI probe into the AgriGold transactions. She asked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu whether he had the courage to order a probe into the matter. She warned that unless the AgriGold properties were sold and the proceeds distributed among the aggrieved people, the agitation by the depositors would be intensified.
