Scholarships announced for Kapu students

Students of the Kapu community would start getting scholarships from the next academic year, Kapu Corporation Chairman Ramanjaneyulu said in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday. Talking to newsmen, Ramanjaneyulu said the corporation was considering scholarships for the Kapu satudents in a big way. All Kapu students, who applied for the scholarships, would get scholarships from next academic year, he added. Kapu leader Mudragada Padmnabham had postponed his second indefinite fast with the AP budget mentioning the allotment of Rs 1000 crore for the Kapu Corporation and big outlay for the Backward Classes in general. With the announcement of the scholarships for the Kapu students, the youth would be happy as well as their parents that their interests were being looked into.
