CBSE XII Maths paper tough, lengthy and leaked
The CBSE XII Class Maths paper of March 14 `deserves inquiry' and the matter would be referred to HRD Minister Smriti Irani, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said on Wednesday.
Noting several parliamentarians' concern in this regard, Venkaiah said the questions were tough even to the best of students and some of the questions were leaked in the market.
The CBSE maths paper issue was raised by KC Venugopal of the Congreess and NK Premachandran of RSP.
SR Vijaykumar (AIADMK) said the maths paper was `unusually lengthy and tough'. Many students were weeping that some of the problems were leaked.
Complaints about the maths paper, which is considered a scoring subject, poured in from all over the country. The CBSE had 20,000 affiliated schools in the country.
In 2015, when similar complaints were made, the CBSE had considered relaxation in evaluation.
