Actor Prabhas' brother awarded 1 year jail in cheque bounce case

Actor Prabhas' brother, Upplapati Prabodh, has been awarded a sentence of 1 year in jail by the Rajendranagar Magistrate Court in a cheque bounce case. Prabodh was the producer of a Prabhas film, Billa. He borrowed Rs 43 lakh from a businessman in Hyderabad to complete the film. While returning the amount, he issued a cheque. It bounced. The matter was brought to the notice of the producer several times, but he did not respond. It was reported to the police by the businessman. A case was filed. The case came up for hearing in the lower court on Tuesday. The court awarded 1 year jail sentence on Prabodh.
