BJP MLA flogs a fallen horse, PETA seeks action

The BJP MLA of Dehradun, Ganesh Joshi, has attracted the ire of netizens for flogging a fallen horse. The typical comment of the netizens is like this, `Probably the horse is anti-national. That is why the MLA is showing his might on it.' While the video that has gone viral clearly shows the MLA flogging the horse, he tried an escape route, saying he was not there. The mount was brought to the spot for bandobust duty. Owing to exposure to the Sun, it fell down. It was provided with water when it revived. The police say there were no injuries on the horse. But the netizens who have a lots of horse sense say otherwise. The MLA flogged it, as a result of which it was injured and fell down. PETA moved in the matter. It wanted severe action taken against the MLA for cruelty to a fallen horse.
