GMR group files cheque bounce cases against Vijay Mallya
While the Central law-enforcing agencies are ill at ease for filing direct cases against Vijay Mallya, Kingfisher Airline owner, the GMR company running the Hyderabad international airport has filed cheque bounce cases against the liquor baron.
The GMR agency had approached the Erramanzil court in the cheque bounces case. The court that went into the matter on Monday issued non-bailable warrants against Vijay Mallya.
The cheque bounces matter pertains to Kingfisher airlines using Hyderabad airport and making payments for the use of airport. When presented to the banks by the GMR group, the cheques bounced.
The non-bailable warrants have been issued against Vijay Mallya and Kingfisher CFO.
The Erramanzil court told the Kingfisher proprietor and the CFO to appear before it on March 29. The warrants were issued by Justice Ramjoji. He told the police to present the accused before him on April 29.
