Cameron's mother challenges her son over public sector cuts

London, March 12: Mary Cameron, mother of British Prime Minister David Cameron, has challenged government policies of public sector cuts applied by her son, feeling "very sad" for the end of a children's centre at a town administered by the Conservatives, to which her son belongs. The statement was published by the Daily Mirror, after the city of West Berkshire just outside London, decided to close the doors of Chieveley and Area Children's Centre, where she works as a volunteer. The mother of the prime minister said she feels sorry for this decision but admitted that "if there's not enough money to pay for it things have to go". Cameron's government has set tough cuts in public spending, especially in the areas of social welfare, seeking to reduce the high deficit.
