Depleted TDP demands defectors' letters from Speaker

Revant Reddy, TDP working president, and Sandra Veeraiah, TDP MLA, on Friday met Speaker Madhusudanachary in his chamber and urged him to give them copies of a list of documents concerning the party defectors. The documents they demanded include Talasani Sreenivas Yadav's resignation letter, TDP complaint to the Speaker against Talasani, TDP defectors' appeal to the Speaker to approve of their crossing over, and finally the defectors' appeal for merger into the ruling TRS. Revant Reddy is understood to have questioned the Speaker how he had approved of the merger in less than 24 hours when the Chair did not clear their original application regarding Talasani for so long. The Speaker is meanwhile in a dilemma whether to give the copies of the defectors documents or not. R. Krishnaiah, the other TDP MLA, is indifferent to the TDP-TRS machinations, confining himself to the betterment of the Backward Classes. In any case, the depleted TDP appears to be ready for a big fight on the defections issue.
