Tipsy air passenger tries to open plane latch

A passenger on the Morocco-London flight behaved in a drunken manner and tried to open the door, alerting the crew on Monday. The passenger paced up and down aisle for some time before trying to open the door latch. Alerted by the passenger's behaviour, the crew complained to the pilot, who decided to land at the nearest airport. He landed the plane safely in France. Even after the landing, the passenger continued to behave in a tipsy state. As a result, the police intervened and took him into custody. The airline officials said if a passenger tried to cause trouble for others, servere action would be taken against them.
