Jagan rejects Rs 44,000 crore wealth charge
Jaganmohan Reddy, YCP leader, on Wednesday regretted that the TDP Ministers were repeatedly alleging that the CBI had determined that he was worth Rs 44,000 crore. Speaking in the State Assembly, Jagan challenged the Ministers that while he was prepared to sign on any document giving them the money if they promised him 25% of the alleged amount. The YCP leader said the CBI case against him was one thing, and the Ministers were alleging something else. He countered saying that while Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu started off with just two acres, how he had amassed Rs 200,000 crore? He also questioned the stay Chandrababu had got against an inquiry into his wealth.
