Madhava Reddy left a big vacuum, says Chandrababu

No TDP leader has been able to fill the vacuum left by Alimineti Madhava Reddy, asserted AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday. Taking part in a programme organised in connection with the Madhava Reddy anniversary at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad, Chandrababu recalled his close association with Madhava Reddy. The Chief Minister said Madhava Reddy was a leader who would sacrifice his life for the ideology he believed in. The vaccum was still being felt in the party. Whatever portfolio was given to him, Madhava Reddy was capable of making it outstanding. He told the meeting to adopt Madhava Reddy's ideals. Alimineti Madhava Reddy was blown up in an explosion set off by the People's War Group in March 2000.
