Sanjay Dutt enjoys freedom of release after 23 years

The first action of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt after reaching Mumbai from the Yerawada jail was to go to the famous Siddhi Vinayak temple for seeking the blessings of Vighneshwara before going home and to family. After settling down at home, he talked to the media. He said while he was in jail, more than himself his wife Manyata had suffered a great deal. She was a great partner and tower of strength for him. That was why he had given his earnings of Rs 440 in jail to her. He revealed that in great anticipation of his release, he had given up food in the last 4 days. It was because he looked forward to this release and freedom for the last 23 years. Henceforth, Sanjay vowed to live for the Tricolour. That was why, when he came out, he kissed Mother India and then saluted the Tricolour flying high on the Yerawada jail. (His mother, Nargis Dutt, had acted in a film titled Mother India). The actor said he would now give top priority to his family. Only after meeting the family needs would he go to work. Earlier, he appealed to the media not to refer to his past as TADA detenu.
