TRS double-bedroom housing goes online for applicants

The ruling Telangana Rajya Samiti's popular double-bedroom project is attracting applications in thousands. Rangareddy district alone has received some 70,000 applications. With the applicants making Rangareddy district collectorate a mela-like atmosphere, the district authorities said the people do not have to necessarily flock at the collectorate. Tehy could as well apply for benefiting from the scheme through online applications now. From February 22, the application will be available online, the authorities added. District Collector Raghunandan Rao said there was no such thing as last date for the double-bedroom housing. Anyone could apply anytime for being considered under the scheme. The people could also apply for the scheme through Meeseva outlets. Double-bedroom housing is the pet project of the TRS, which has brought in benefits for the party even before many houses were built. The project is aimed at benefiting the people becasue of nuclearisation of families.
