Government representatives Kimidi Kala Venkatrao, Minister Kinjarao Achchennaidu had persuaded Padmanabham to break his indefinite fast by putting three government porposals before him. As Padmanabham agreed to the proposals, Kala Venkatrao immediately called for lime juice and Padmnabham consumed it, signalling the break of fasting. The first proposal is to advance the submission of the report by Justice Manjunatha Commission going into the issue of creation of reservations for the Kapus without disturbing the Backward Classes quotas. Second is to provide for a member to be nominated by Padmanabham to be included in the Justice Manjunatha Commission. Third is to disburse loans among the Kapus by the Backward Classes Corporation. The TDP government representatives included Thota Trimurthulu and Boddu Bhaskararao. The break of fast was highlighted by a lot of bonhomie between the government representatives and Padmanabham by embraces and smiling and so on.
