Loud explosion causes anxiety in Vijayawada

There was a big explosion in Vijayawada on Friday morning, which was first dismissed as a cylinder burst. The explosion, which was too loud to be dismissed, occurred along Pantakaluva road at Viayanagar colony. The police and revenue officials reached the spot and were investigating. A couple in the scrap business, who were at home, were injured in the blast that put them unconscious. They were reached to the hospital. Till they regain consciousness, the cause of the explosion may not be known. It is well known that bomb culture is rampant in Guntur, Prakasam and Cuddapah districts. A return of bomb culture would badly affect the new State that had to start from the scratch.
