T wants some more, KCR tells Gadkari sternly

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday put the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in quite a fix. Even as Gadkari announced a clutch of projects for Telangana, said to be more than expected, KCR harangued him at the Warangal meeting. "We will eulogise our patrons, and if we are let down by the Centre we know how to extract project funds from adversaries. The Telangana people are endeared to Gadkari who has given more than fair share of the highways and some more." Gadkari was, however, flummoxed by the twist in the tail. KCR's reference to `extracting project funds' was beyond his understanding. In any case, KCR had made his intentions clear as he spoke in Hindi, although with an accent. The Chief Minister said there was a need for some more other than the usual Central aid, considering the State is newly formed.
