Sangit Som receives death threat

Sangit Som, BJP MLA of UP, has received a death threat from the IS by someone speaking from South America. Sangit Som, who is an accused in the Muzaffarnagar riots case, said that the caller had warned him of death and that the killers had already arrived in India to carry out the threat. In a complaint to the police, the BJP MLA said as the caller threatened him in Hindi, he put down the phone taking it a nuisance call. But the caller rang up again to finish his threat. He had already conveyed the matter to the IG of Police and also senior BJP leaders. The first-time MLA was booked under the National Security Act in 2013.
