Wife-killing plan misfires, Husband hurt, arrested

A man who tried to get his wife murdered with an eye on her money has fallen into his own trap and nearly got killed instead. The man, Yasser, of Uttarakhand, wanted his wife Bima murdered by hired killers. He gave `supari' (blood money) to two hired killers. Then Yasser made a plan that he along with his family would be visiting relatives. On the way, there would be an attempt by dacoits. The wife would be killed in the attempt, and so on. The murderous plan, however, misfired. Yasser set out on the journey. Midway there was dacoity. The dacoits looted ornaments from Bima. She raised a hell. When the dacoits opened fire, a bullet hit Yasser. She escaped. Meanwhile local people gathered and the dacoits took to their heels. Owing to the use of firearms, the police intervened, and Yasser had to spill the beans. He was arrested.
