Rajya Sabha unanimously passes SC-ST bill

New Delhi, Dec 21: The Rajya Sabha on Monday unanimously passed The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Bill, 2014, which aims to prohibit the offences against the SCs and STs. The bill provides for establishing special courts for the trial of such offences and the rehabilitation of victims.
