Chiranjeevi mourns intimate friend, wellwisher

Megastar Chiranjeevi on Sunday expressed his shock and grief over the suicide of his intimate friend and wellwisher Ranganath. Paying tributes to Ranganath, Chiranjeevi said that the deceased actor had given him many useful tips when he began his acting career. They had acted together in `Love in Singapore' in which Ranganath played the main role and Chiranjeevi second hero. For the shooting of the film, they spent one month together in Singapore. When Edida Nageshwar Rao passed away recently, they had met when Ranganath looked very strong, and they talked for one-and-a-half hours. When they were together, they would forget the lapse of time, Chiranjeevi added. So when he heard that Ranganath had committed suicide, Chiranjeevi said it was very difficult to believe it. May his soul rest in peace.
