Jagan and all YCP MLAs suspended

All the YCP MLAs, including their leader Jaganmohan Reddy, were suspended from the AP State Assembly on Friday. They were continuing with their demand for a discussion on the sensational Call Money racket that has rocked Vijayawada. Even as treasury benches started a discussion on Ambedkar anniversary, the YCP members opposed it by surrounding the Speaker's podium amid raising slogans. Minister for Assembly Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu proposed the suspension of the YCP members. Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao elicited the views of all the members on the matter and suspended the YCP members till the end of the discussion on Ambedkar anniversary. Even after being suspended, the YCP members led by Roja continued their sloganeering. Protesting against the Speaker's ruling, the YCP MLAs refused to leave the House. As the Speaker went into his chambers, BK Parthasarathy, who took the Chair, made repeated appeals to the YCP MLAs to leave the House. As they were reluctant, the Chair ordered the marshals to come in. The Marshals bodily lifted the YCP MLAs out of the House.
