Rickshaw driver scares attack-prone Mumbai

A rickshaw driver created quite a scare in Mumbai on Thursday. The rickshaw driver rang up his constable friend in Govandi police station that he had seen four men with AK-47 rifles in Lokmanya Tilak railway terminus at Kurla. The constable informed his higher authorities. Soon it was all mayhem in Mumbai that is yet to recover from 26/11 terrorist attack. Chatrapati Shivaji terminus (VT) was the particular point of 26/11 attack. The Govandi police informed the top police and the railway police. The police and bomb squads surrounded the railway station. The police checked CCTV footage and remained alert for over 6 hours. But they found nothing untoward. The guard was then called off. The police then interrogated the rickshaw driver. He told them innocently that he and his constable friend had to attend a function. His friend was already late. So he invented the story so his friend would come running to the railway station. The police let off the driver after a reprimand.
