Alia Bhatt tweets she's fine after burns

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who suffered firecracker burns last week-end, has tweeted she's fine. Alia Bhatt suffered the burns at the Big Screen Awards function last week-end. As crackers were fired at the closing ceremony, she was almost hit in the face by a burning firecracker rocket. She covered her face with hands, but the rocket burst near her, injuring her in the hands, neck and legs. Alia was then admitted to a hospital. A picture taken as she was returning home clearly shows the bad burns on her left-hand. She was glad to announce that her face had been spared. The tweet appeals to the netizens to take precautions against injuries in case of firecracker celebrations. She thanked all those who stood by her. Alia Bhatt is the daughter of famous film-maker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Rajdan.
