CP seeks 15-day leave: Call Money racket

The Vijayawada Commissioner of Police, Gautam Sawang, has urged for a fortnight's leave even as Call Money racket probe is on and been granted leave immediately. Police sources, however, say that Gautam's leave plea is owing to the pressure being put up by the errant political class. Meanwhile, Surendra Babu will discharge the duties as in-charge Commissioner of Police.
