Danam denies joining TRS

Hyderabad, Dec 4: Senior Congress leader Danam Nagendra a short while ago denied that he was joining TRS. Stating that reports claiming that he was joining TRS on Monday were just rumours, Danam said there was a malicious campaign to tarnish his image. Speaking to media, he then claimed that he was holding party meetings at the division level only with an intention to strengthen the Congress party in Telangana. Speaking on the same issue, another congress leader Shabbir Ali said Danam was a hardcore Congress man and there was no question of him leaving the party.
