Galla Jaydev proposes building 27 townships within Amaravati

Hyderabad, Nov 30: Lok Sabha member from Guntur Galla Jaydev is believed to have proposed to the state government the development of 27 townships within the new capital city Amaravati to represent the distinct cultural heritage of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Galla Jaydev is also believed to have proposed that seven of the 27 townships should replicate the characteristics of metropolitan cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The MP further suggested that four of the 27 townships could represent the characteristics of London, Tokyo, Singapore and Shangai.
