TDP leader Krishnaiah to float a political party for BCs in Telangana

Hyderabad, Nov 26: One more political party in the offing and that too for the welfare of the backward castes. R Krishnaiah, who is at present the Telangana TDP's MLA and a BC leader, is seriously preparing to launch a new political party in the state. Krishnaiah has been staying away from Telugu Desam party activities immediately after the general elections in 2014 for reasons best known to him. He said that BCs should have a separate political party for their own development. Speaking to the media at Ramayampeta in Medak district, the TDP leader said that BCs need 50 per cent reservation. This can be achieved only if they have a separate political party. It may be recalled that Krishnaiah was rumored to be keen to join the Telangana Rashtra Samithi as he was neglected by TDP High Command after the 2014 polls.
