TS identifies 231 drought-hit mandals, report submitted to centre: KCR

Hyderabad, Nov 24: Telangana chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced that his government has identified 231 drought-hit mandals in the state and a report on the same has been submitted to the central government. KCr is said to have held a meeting at his camp office here today on drought conditions in the state. Among those who attended the meeting included Minister Pocharam, chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, Revenue Secretary Meena and others. The government has identified drought-hit mandals in the following districts: Mahbubnagar, Medak, Nizamabad and Ranga Reddy. Khammam and Adilabad districts received reasonable rains.
