Centre sets up 5-member panel to solve AP-TS bifurcation problems

Hyderabad, Nov 23: The Union Home Ministry today set up a five-member committee to resolve bifurcation problems between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Top Home ministry's official Kumar Alok is to head the committee. Other members of the committee include AP Resident Commissioner Anil Kumar Singhal, Telangana Resident Commissioner Sashank Goel, AP finance secretary Prem Chandra Reddy, Telangana finance secretary KA Krishna Rao. The central government has mandated the committee to come up with solutions to the problems between the two states in a time frame of two months. The first meeting of the committee is scheduled for November 26.
