AgriGold benami assets: HC posts hearing on Nov 26

Hyderabad, Nov 23: The Counsel for the victims of AgriGold fraud case today handed over details of benami properties worth crores of rupees to the Hyderabad High Court. The C-1 company had also submitted to the court that it would start the process of auctioning AgriGold properties from February 20 next year. The company urged the court to grant it 0.5 per cent of the auctioned amount. Following which the high court gave directions that the auction process should start from January 1 of next year. The court further said that instead of 0.5 per cent, the company should take only 0.2 per cent charges. The court then posted the ext hearing in the case to November 26 and said its will examine the details of the benami properties of AgriGold on that day.
