7th Pay Commission to recommend 15% Hike on Nov 19?
Hyderabad, Nov 17: In all probability, the Seventh Pay Commission is likely to propose a 15 per cent increase in salaries for the central government employees and pensioners, government sources revealed in Delhi today. However, this 15 per cent salary increase is bound to be a lot lower than the 35 per cent wage increase that was recommended by the sixth Pay Commission, sources said. The Seventh Pay Commission is likely to submit its recommendations to the finance minister on Thursday. And the salary increase is expected to be implemented from January 1, 2016, the sources said. The recommendations are to impact 50 lakh central government employees and 54 lakh pensioners.
