BCCI drops Ravi Shastri from IPL panel

Hyderabad, Nov 10: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is said to have dropped Ravi Shastri from the Indian Premier League's (IPL) governing council. He is currently the director of Team India till the T20 World Cup next year. Ravi Shastri has been involved with IPL since 2008. BCCI took the decision at its annual general meeting in Mumbai on Monday. Meanwhile, the BCCI has appointed former Chief Justice of India AP Shah as an ombudsman to oversee all cases of conflict of interest featuring administrators, current and former players involved with Indian cricket.
