Foundation stone to be laid on Nov 16 for farm varsity in Guntur

Hyderabad, Nov 6: Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh is expected to take part in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the agriculture university at Lam near Guntur on November 16. The function is expected to be held at 10 am on that day. The new agricultural university is expected to come up on the land abutting the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Lam, on the Guntur-Amaravathi Road. The central government has already sanctioned Rs. 50 crore for the new agriculture university, to come up on about 900 acres of land at Lam.
