KCR lays foundation stone for 2BHK in Suryapet

Hyderabad, Oct 22: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday launched the TS government’s long awaited two-bedroom scheme at Suryapet. KCR, however, has put off the inauguration of the scheme at IDH Colony in Secunderabad due to his visit to Amaravati. KCR, however, launched the scheme at Golla Bazaar in Suryapet after his return from Amaravati this afternoon. Later, he is to fly to his adopted village Erravali in Gajwel mandal of Medak district. He is expected to launch the housing scheme. Meanwhile, TS housing minister A Indrakaran Reddy said ministers and legislators will launch the 2BHK programme in their respective constituencies and districts. As part of the 2BHK project, TS is to construct at least 60,000 houses or flats in the first phase at a cost of Rs 4,000 crore.
