Chandrababu wants KCR to speak at Amaravati fete
Vijayawada, Oct 22: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is understood to be making sincere efforts to include his Telangana counterpart KCR in the list of speakers during the Amaravati capital foundation-stone laying ceremony today. According to reports, Prime Minister Officer (PMO) restricted the number of speakers at the event to five. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, a Minister each from Japan and Singapore will address the meeting. Chandrababu believes that it would be better to give some time to K Chandrasekhar Rao to give his opinions and suggestions on the new capital city and the bond between people of the two Telugu states. It is said that Chandrababu directed officials to contact PMO to increase the numbers of speakers from five to seven. Though invitations were extended to all the CMs and Governors in the country, Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal, Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, TS CM KCR, AP&TS Governor ESL Narasimhan and Assam Governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya are expected to attend the event.
