Jagan's indefinite fast enters 6th day, health worsens

Guntur, Oct 12: YSRCP chief and Leader of Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite fast for special status to AP entered sixth day today. Jagan is very weak and barely able to speak. Doctors today conducted medical tests two times in the morning. Jagan's sugar levels dropped and ketone bodies reached alarming levels. Doctors attending on him said that Jagan's pulse rate is dropping. As per the health bulletin released a short while ago, Jagan's pulse rate was 68 per minute, blood pressure was 130/80, weight 72.9 kgs, blood sugar was 61 and ketone levels were 3+. Doctors expressed concern over the health. They said that Jagan would lapse into comma if he continues the fast. A large number of YSRCP cadres and fans appealed to Jagan to call off the stir, but the latter reiterated that stir would be continued till Centre accords special status to the state.
