IT sector to create 20 lakh jobs in next 5 years

Hyderabad, Oct 06: A report released by Nasscom-McKinsey has revealed that Indian IT and ITeS services would create 20 lakh jobs in the next five years. The report maintained that the industry's turnover will increase from $ 132 billion (Rs 8.61 lakh crore) in financial year 2014-15 to $ 350 billion by 2025. The domestic market will play a key role in the growth of IT industry in the country. Of the projected $350 billion, exports are to be accounted for about $ 280 billion. The focus on Digital India, Skills India and others such programmes will boost the IT sector growth in India.
