KCR, Harish stifled Opposition's voice: Revanth
Hyderabad, Oct 05: TTDP Working President A Revanth Reddy has accused the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his nephew T Harish Rao of stifling the voice of Opposition in Assembly. Revanth alleged that TRS government hatched a conspiracy to evade debate on farmers suicides and other issues plaguing agriculture sector. He took a strong exception to the decision to suspend 28 Opposition MLAs for the entire session. The government is behaving in an autocratic manner, he said. Commenting on suspension of MLAs, he said that such an incident has never happened. Barring Congress Floor Leader K Jana Reddy, TDP MLA R Krishnaiah and MIM members, all the Opposition MLAs were suspended for the entire session.
