Secretariat employees meet Chandrababu in Vijayawada

Hyderabad, Oct 3: Representatives of secretariat employees are at present holding discussions with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Vijayawada on the issue of shifting staff to the state. It may be recalled that the AP cabinet recently set June 2, 2017 as deadline to obtain nativity status for the state government employees and their children who shift to either Vijayawada or other places in the state from Hyderabad and other part of Telangana. Earlier, the shifting of administration to Vijayawada was delayed as government employees working in Hyderabad had requested the Chandrababu government to accord local status to them and their children in AP.
