TS changes design of Pranahita Chevella project
Hyderabad, Oct 1: Braving opposition criticism, the Telangana government today made changes in the Pranahita Chevella lift irrigation project, sources said. With this, the government is ready to supply water from Midmaneru project to Nizamsagar project, sources explained. As per the new design, water can be diverted to Nizamsagar project through water bodies located at Tadakapalli and Pamulaparthi. The government has given permission to the designers for the submission of the final report on the project.
