BJP sore over TDP

Vijayawada, Sep 29: BJP is preparing to hit back at TDP on the issue of financial assistance being given to the state by Centre. BJP took a serious note of constant criticism by TDP on financial assistance to the state from Centre. The BJP state leaders are of the opinion that TDP is blaming NDA government though it is granting adequate funds to the state regularly. According to reports, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu reportedly commented that AP government is diverting the funds sanctioned by Central government. Inordinate delay in execution of Polavaram project also created differences between the two parties. BJP state chief and Visakhapatnam MP Kambhampati Haribabu is of the view that state government is not focussing its attention in executing the Polavaram project at the earliest.
